  12. Actually, I'd like a way to do asynchronous reading.  Polling or select
  13. or some such, if possible, in order that servers could be written in
  14. Icon.  I have a very kludgy way to do it that actually has some
  15. advantages, but I'd like to hear if there's already a better solution
  16. than adding things to the interpreter.  Also, the code mentioned I would
  17. like to see.       -- Darren
